Job Description:
At PD Technologies, you’ll work on building and deploying automation systems that run real-world operations. This is a hands-on role, covering everything from writing control logic to ensuring smooth on-site performance.
We’re looking for a PLC Engineer to develop programs within process automation frameworks. You’ll build solutions from scratch, configure existing systems, and support users when needed.
The role calls for strong coding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to spot and fix issues quickly. You should be a collaborative team player with good communication skills and a genuine interest in PLC, DCS, SCADA, and process automation.
Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out customer visits in conjunction with technical issues
- Detailed BOM (Bill of Materials) knowledge of Phoenix Contact, Schneider, Delta, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi systems
- Automation system testing and commissioning
- Automation in-house engineering including automation project specification, hardware configuration, functional description, and programming
- Automation on-site job includes electrical installation guidance test, confirmation of process with design engineer, online commissioning (mainly for Phoenix Contact) verification of process upgrade with customer, project files updating
- Automation emergency response includes emergency failure analysis, remote guidance or connection support, on-site troubleshooting
What we’re looking for
- Work Experience: Fresher / 1-2 Years of Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Control Engineering, or equivale
- Exposure to the data centre industry is an added advantage
- Comfortable working in onsite, project-driven environments
